MANY PEOPLE TO THANK

Before this adventure gets underway, we wanted to take a moment to express our thanks to several people for all of their assistance with our trip preparations.

We wanted to begin by thanking our Senior Cruise Specialist, Gerri and the head of the agency, Mary Jean, and also to others such as Gerri's assistant, Ashley, and to the team of personnel who assist with tours and to all other personnel for all that they have done for us.  This team has been on top of each and every detail requiring attention.

We greatly appreciate your professionalism, attention to detail, and your  timely followup to all of our inquiries.

We would also like to thank Steve LeTellier, Pinnacle Travel Document Systems, for all of his help to facilitate the receipt of our Chinese visa and for answering all of our questions for not only this voyage, but for all of our previous voyages with Crystal Cruises, in which we have sailed, where visas have also been required.

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the countless number of people from Crystal Cruises Headquarters in Los Angeles, California for all of the coordination and support they have provided leading up to the start of this adventure.  This includes Michael Vinar from Reservations, Samantha Haslop from On-Board Guest Services, as well as personnel from Crystal Society.  Special thanks to John Stoll, Vice President of Land Programs and Port Operations, for all of his assistance, tremendous input, and for his enthusiasm and passion, and also to Rachel Tabin from Land Programs.  There are so many others who work behind the scenes to provide a wonderful experience for all of us to enjoy and we say thank you for all that you do.

We also send our sincere thanks to several officers, crew and staff from the Crystal Serenity for all of the help and assistance they have provided to us.  We can't say enough for all that you do.

You are all simply the best!

We also wanted to thank those of you who have given us advice on an array of topics, including the input  as we planned tours to take while in some selected ports.  We have received several excellent recommendations as we made our selections and we can't thank each of you enough for your thoughtful recommendations.

Finally, we thank our family for their love and we thank our neighbors/friends for their enthusiasm and for their assistance at home while we are away.

Coming next: "Ready-Set-Go".   Join us for a final post right before the start of our journey.
