We wanted to begin with a few additional photos from yesterday.
The formation on the far right looks like a woman.
Before dinner last evening we had a drink at the Avenue Saloon and then we had dinner in the Crystal Dining Room. The Saloon was very quiet while we were there but later in the evening when pianist Colin Salter plays and sings the Saloon was fully packed.

We have moved tables for this last voyage since Eric and Kara joined us. Our senior waiter is Narola. During one of the segments of the World Cruise often Narola assisted us with bottled water and soft drinks and clearing our table for lunch at the Lido Cafe and we had her as our Senior Waiter one time when we had lunch in the dining room in the section that she was working. She is very friendly and very professional. She was given a list of our preferences so she already knew the standing order salads we have and just some of our other preferences.
Our waiter is Aleksandr who we have never had in the past. He was very efficient.
To begin our meal, Eric and Keith had Tuna Tartare as an appetizer which Head Waiter Augusto made for the two of them. Like Father like Son. LOL.
For entrees, Anne Marie had the Sautéed Tiger Praunes. She really enjoyed them.
Keith had the Modern Cuisine Broiled Sea Bass. Augusto brought Keith an additional fillet to enjoy.
For dessert, it was mixed berries for Keith.
For Anne Marie it was a sugar free Mocha Cream Puff.
We enjoyed a terrific dinner and we look forward to a couple of additional dinners in the Crystal Dining Room before this adventure ends.
After dinner, Eric and Kara enjoyed sometime on the ship by themselves while we walked around for a little while as well. We
signed the four of us up for a magic show and adjusted a specialty restaurant reservation.
We slept well last evening as we remained anchored off of Sorrento.
Keith woke up early and read, wrote and then exercised at the Fitness Center and then after going to the Lido Cafe and bringing back coffee for Anne Marie we walked for an hour.
We enjoyed breakfast in our room and then we got ready to go into Sorrento. Eric and Kara met us a 9:30 AM and then the four of us took the tender from the Serenity into Sorrento.
The downtown area of Sorrento is very charming and a very popular destination. The weather was overcast so it felt a bit chilly.
We walked around for a few hours before we had Lunch. We went into a church, and we also went into several local shops and we walked into a local supermarket. We took Eric and Kara to a place where we purchased music boxes our last time here as Sorrento is famous for making the music boxes that you see all around Italy. Eric and Kara got a ceramic item.
For lunch our plan was to have pizza. We had three different recommendations including a couple of restaurants from our tour guide from yesterday. We went with our tour guides first recommendation. A few minutes after we were seated Specialty Restaurant Maitre d' came into the restaurant so we knew we picked a good one and when our pizza came we were doubly sure. The pizza had a nice thin cruise. We each had Margarita Pizza's. Keith had one the way our tour guide described it which was cheese, no sauce and slice cherry tomatoes, Anne Marie and Kara had the regular Margarita Pizza and Eric had his with black olives and artichokes added. Unlike most places in the United States there was no extra cost for the additional toppings.
Fruits and vegetables in Italy always look and taste great.
Photos from the restaurant.
The men had a local Italian Beer and the ladies had soda.
The pizza was cooked in a brick oven.
Keith's pizza with the cherry tomatoes. It adds a natural sweet taste to the Pizza.
Anne Marie's Pizza.
Photos of the Crystal Serenity from our tender.
In the afternoon, Kara rested and Anne Marie walked for an hour and Keith and Eric got together.
This evening we will dine at the Crystal Dining Room.

Sad to see the journey drawing to a close. Thanks for the effort! Would you be willing to share the name of the pizza place?
