These are some photos form the Purim Event held yesterday afternoon.

One of two guests who read the story of Purim.
There was lots of traditional foods at the Purim Celebration.
We had a wonderful time at Silk Road last evening where we dined with Crystal Society Hostess Jaque Brown.
Our waiter for the evening was Anthony who we have known for many years. Albert who took care of us the past few months has gone home for Holiday.
The evening attire was Black Tie Optional and everyone looked great.
We didn't order much of anything. Most everything was pre-ordered for us, including a very large platter of sushi and sashimi. The executive chef for Silk Road brought out two different courses that we have never had before and the rest of what we had was several courses of sushi and sashimi. We just ordered a couple of items that were not pre-ordered for us and this was the first time we ate at Silk Road and did not order salad, an entree or even dessert. Keith just had a small plate of fruit at the end of the meal. The food was absolutely delicious and we had a wonderful time dining with Jaque. As we say often we enjoyed a terrific conversation and we did have a lot of laughs as well.
For the third time of this segment we had the benefit of turning back the clocks one hour before going to sleep and we will do this another three times before we reach Cape Town.
With the benefit of setting the clock back by one hour Keith was up early but enjoyed an additional hour of sleep. He did the laundry and read and wrote and then did a moderate workout in the Fitness Center before he went to the Lido Cafe for coffee. He brought some back for Anne Marie before we walked for one hour on the Promenade Deck.
We then had breakfast in our room as we watched the Daily Morning Show.
There were three lectures on the schedule today. One was about Crocodiles, the second about Port Mauritius and the other one was about lessons learned from reality TV.
The Crystal Cove was decorated for St. Patrick's Day as is the Avenue Saloon and also the venue that will be used for this evening's performance.
Keith was playing Tennis later so this was the closest he could come to green as he didn't bring his sports shirt that is green on the cruise.
Anne Marie is half Irish.

Although Spin Class was offered again today, Keith skipped today's class since only 30 minutes after the class would have ended he knew he was playing in the Men's singles Paddle Tennis as part of the World Games. Singles Tennis requires quite a bit more running than doubles so he wanted to save his legs for that event. Keith didn't get a medal but still had a lot of fun playing. Remember, it's just to have fun.
Anne Marie also went to knitting and enjoyed some talks with several of the women who are also knitting.
Today, also marked the end of this round of Team Trivia. We did well but not well enough. A question that we got wrong and many people did was which long running Television Show has been nominated for the most Emmy Awards. We came up with 60 minutes after thinking about others such as MASH but we overlooked the correct answer which was Saturday Night Live. Another one was one that you got a half point for each correct answer was which two quarterbacks in NFL history won four Super Bowls. Keith knew Terry Bradshaw which was correct but just couldn't get the second one. We came up with Tom Brady but the correct answer was Joe Montana. We had a great time and as we say often it's only Trivia.
We had our normal entree for lunch which is a salad entree.
In the afternoon, Keith worked out in the Fitness Center as the Paddle Tennis Courts were in use with Ladies Doubles Paddle Tennis for the World Games. Anne Marie walked for an hour and then she went to Yoga. Later in the afternoon, Keith met up with dear friend Bob.
After three days away from the Crystal Dining Room, this evening we return and are looking forward to a nice dinner there. There is also a special St. Patrick's Day Evening Show.
TODAY'S THOUGHTS FOR THE DAY…..
