Last evening we were back at the Crystal Dining Room. Cruise Director Rick Spath joined us for
dinner. It was great to dine with Rick
and this will be our last dinner together for World Cruise 2014.
We had pre-ordered a couple of items for dinner.
We began with a chicken broth soup, which we ordered from
the menu.
Our next course was a Caesar Salad, which Head Waiter
Augusto prepared for us. It was
delicious and a real treat.
We had also pre-ordered the Entrée which was surf n’
turf. We had Beef Wellington and Lobster
Tail.
Others in the dining room could also enjoy the Beef Wellington too.

For dessert, Keith had mixed berries and Anne Marie had the
sugar-free Vanilla Profiteroles with Fudge Sauce.
She gave Keith a piece to try and we both enjoyed the dessert.
After dinner there was a special party for everyone where
they could wear an item that they purchased on this cruise or for that matter
any previous travels. The party was
appropriately called the Around The World Cocktail Party. We were also given masks as we entered the room. Even with the masks we all seemed to know one another. LOL, but so very true.

Anne Marie also wore a necklace that she purchased the other day in West Africa.

Classical Violinist Nicola Loud also performed two shows and
later in the evening Sarah Hayes sang in the Cove to the music played by
pianist John Mentis.
Once again we enjoyed a good night’s sleep. However, we did have to forward our clocks by
one hour for one of the very few times of this trip.
Keith was up first and his body "alarm clock" was not yet on the right hour so he actually slept one hour later. Today is a sea day as
we are now sailing to our next port of call in Lisbon, Portugal. This will be the last port until we reach
Southampton where the World Cruise ends but tomorrow’s stop is followed by two
full sea days before the 2014 World Cruise comes to an end.
Keith went through his normal routine of reading and writing, but skipped the workout at the Fitness Center since he woke up one hour later than normal. He did make it up to the Lido Cafe and brought some coffee back to the room for Anne Marie we went
on a nice walk together. After we
returned from the walk we had breakfast in our room, while we watched the Daily
Morning Show together.
Shortly before the show ended, Keith made his way over to
the Fitness Center where he attended another Spin Class. In fact, this was one of the final three Spin
Classes of the World Cruise. Anne Marie
stopped by to take a photo before heading to the Crystal Plaza to read, write
and work on her knitting project.
And then there was one as just Keith took today's Spin Class
A tradition of some of the World Cruises where Ostrich Eggs can be obtained is for the crew to decorate the eggs for Easter. Each guest could select in order from one, two and three their top three favorites and the top five will each receive a gift. Kudos to the crew members whose artwork and creativity in decorating the eggs was superb. It was hard to vote as they all were terrific.

Anne Marie attended a knitting get-together and today market
the second to last Team Trivia Games of World Cruise 2014.
We had a salad entrée for lunch before Keith went off to
play Paddle Tennis and Anne Marie walked for one hour followed by Yoga. Keith got together with dear friend Bob.
We wanted to mention that there were three very interesting lectures. The first one was given by Ken Rees who spoke about Portugal. Next up was Ambassador Marc Ginsberg who spoke about the Atomic Ayatollahs and finally Tom DeFrank spoke about Stories That Never Made it to Print.

This evening marks the start of Passover and there is a
Seder on the ship which will be conducted by Rabbi Morrie.
